Weedsil 58% SL belongs to the Phenoxycarboxylic group. It is a selective, systemic, post-emergence herbicide used for the control of annual and perennial broad-leaved weeds in a wide range of crops.

Mode of Action

Weedsil 58% SL is a selective and systemic herbicide of the phenoxycarboxylic group. It acts as a synthetic auxin (plant hormone), causing uncontrolled cell division in weeds. This results in abnormal cell wall plasticity, excessive protein synthesis, and increased ethylene production. These effects lead to stem twisting, leaf wilting, and eventual death of weeds.
