Dr. Bacto’s P.S.B-4K is a high-quality biofertilizer containing Phosphate Solubilizing Bacteria (PSB) Bacillus megaterium with a minimum of 2 × 10⹠CFU/g. These agriculturally beneficial bacteria solubilize inorganic phosphates present in the soil, making phosphorus readily available for plant uptake.
PSB bacteria release low molecular weight organic acids such as formic, acetic, propionic, lactic, glycolic, fumaric, and succinic acids, along with acidic phosphatases. These compounds solubilize mineral phosphates present in the soil, making them readily available to crops for enhanced growth and productivity.
