Mode of Action
Bt works specifically on insect larvae through the following process:

• Ingestion: Larvae consume plant material treated with Bt spores

• Activation: Spores dissolve in the insect’s alkaline midgut, releasing protein crystals

• Toxin Formation: Gut enzymes convert crystals into active Bt (Cry) toxins

• Binding: Toxins bind to the midgut cells and form pores

• Cell Damage: These pores cause the cells to rupture

• Larval Death: The pest stops feeding and eventually dies from digestive failure

Application & Dosage

• Gardening: 5–10 ml per liter of water

• Agriculture: 1–2 liters per acre (via foliar spray)

Usage Tips & Precautions

• Apply 2–3 days earlier than conventional pesticides for best results

• Ideal temperature: above 18°C; apply in the evening for optimal effect

• Best performance when sprayed at temperatures above 30°C

• Repeat application every 10–15 days for sustained protection
